Weddings and Private Parties ( we supply the dj gear, soundsystems, wireless mics, lighting, set-up and take-down )

Prices range according to the number of guests attending - this is because more sound equipment and lighting is required for larger rooms; these gigs also require an assistant for the entire duration to help pickup and deliver and set up the equipment, serve as a sound and lighting technician during the event, function as a back up dj, and to assist in taking down and returning all rented equipment.

General guidelines for events held in Vancouver or within a 45 minute drive of downtown:

100-150 people; $1000

175-225 people; $1200

250-300 people: $1500

For events on the island (Victoria, Sooke, Nanaimo, Tofino, etc) there is a surcharge of $500 for additional ferry and travel expenses plus for accommodation as we would be required to stay the night and return home to Vancouver the next day.

The sound and lighting equipment would be set up at the reception location during the day (before anyone arrives) and soundchecked. A laptop is set up to play background music for when the guests arrive. During dinner, speeches, and games, we supply 'specialty music' appropriate for these parts and we also are on hand to adjust volume levels according to what is appropriate (for example, down or off during speeches). After dinner we start party rocking and get your guests dancing to whichever type of music you and they like. Most wedding and private party venues require the music and party to stop at 1am.
